PRECOR
Exterior Insulation and Finish System
- Exterior wall cladding, defined as Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS), Class PB. The system consists of an adhesive, rigid expanded polystyrene board, basecoat, acrylic-coated glass fiber reinforcing mesh, and an acrylic finish coating.
- The PRECOR System is an insulating cladding system that is protective and decorative. The PRECOR System is a barrier wall system, and is designed to be used, in proper coordination with other building components, as a building exterior wall cladding. It is critical that all building elements, such as windows, sealants and flashings, be designed and installed so as to prevent water infiltration, since such infiltration may result in damage to the system, the substrate, or other building elements.
