Exterior Insulation and Finish System
- Exterior wall cladding, defined as Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS), Class PB. The system consists of an adhesive, rigid expanded polystyrene board, basecoat, acrylic-coated glass fiber reinforcing mesh, and an acrylic finish coating.
- The PRECOR System is an insulating cladding system that is protective and decorative. The PRECOR System is a barrier wall system, and is designed to be used, in proper coordination with other building components, as a building exterior wall cladding. It is critical that all building elements, such as windows, sealants and flashings, be designed and installed so as to prevent water infiltration, since such infiltration may result in damage to the system, the substrate, or other building elements.
Stages of the system
Surface on which the PRECOR EIFS System is placed.
Waterproofing and mesh to seal window openings, doors and wall inserts.
Acrylic adhesive. Dries forming a strong and resistant but flexible layer with excellent adhesion. It is used to paste the EPS.
EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE (EPS)
Rigid panel made of high-density thermo-insulating expanded polystyrene (16 kg / m3) of high quality. It is used as a thermal and acoustic insulator.
Alkali resistant fiberglass mesh. It serves as a reinforcement.
Acrylic adhesive. Dries forming a strong and resistant, but flexible layer with excellent adhesion. It is used for the coating of COREVNET ST Mesh.
Before final finishing, seal and anchor to level surface.
Range of coatings that protect and provide a resistant and decorative finish.
